The CMSIS support is now extended to Arm Cortex-A5/A7/A9 processors and the RTX5 source code is fully MISRA compliant. A new CMSIS-NN library contains essential algorithms that accelerate machine learning operations.
The MDK Middleware is now fully compatible with CMSIS-RTOS2 and works with RTX5 or FreeRTOS. A separate pack with device-independent drivers allows re-use from other packs that are independent from the MDK Middleware.
Updated software packs with latest versions of FreeRTOS and LwIP TCP/IP networking are available. LwIP now uses Ethernet MAC/PHY CMSIS-Driver interfaces that are available for many devices.
Several new devices are supported by MDK. For example, Redpine Signals offers WiFi enabled Cortex-M devices with complete CMSIS-Drivers for MDK Middleware. Also the STM32F2 and STM32F4 are updated with latest HAL software.
