STM8 编译程序超8K

很早就买了STM8开发板，一直没有时间搞，最近开始玩玩，准备将STM8-出厂预装程序(V1.0_2012-10-12)程序烧录到芯片中，编译发现报错：Error[Lp011]: section placement failed: unable to allocate space for sections/blocks with a total estimated minimum size of 0x2059 bytes in <[0x008000-0x009fff]>  
(total uncommitted space 0x1f80).
  5 828 bytes of readonly  code memory
  2 581 bytes of readonly  data memory
    364 bytes of readwrite data memory

好像是程序超过8K了，如何搞？

main() 中随便删除一些打印的语句。 这个问题在不同的机器上编译确实出现超过ROM的情况，大部分机器上编译是正好够用的。
